Beissbarth BMW Q.Lign (BMW Special holder)
The wheel alignment equipment is equipped with a wireless electronic steering wheel level and corresponds to the newly introduced BMW wheel alignment process from July 2026.
See: SI 03 01 26 (270).
The Beissbarth BMW Q.lign is modern wheel alignment equipment that uses camera technology and 3D reflectors to precisely record the wheel position and ride height of the vehicle. The cameras are integrated into two pickups, which are mounted on the running rails of the wheel alignment vehicle lift. During the alignment process, four height markers are used for continuous transmission of the vehicle heights to the pickups. This ensures that the correct target values are used according to the current ride height and compared with the actual values. The voltage supply for the pickups is provided by powerful lithium-ion batteries. This significantly reduces the installation effort, in particular by eliminating extensive cable laying at the alignment station. A remaining cable connection exists exclusively between the pickups and the electronic turntables.
Special features:
Thanks to the integrated image processing directly in the pickups and the wireless data transfer to a separate display module, there is no need for an additional computer including trolley. The system can be operated and the measurement data displayed flexibly via various end devices such as tablets, monitors, TVs or smartphones. Wheel alignment logs can be saved as PDF files or, if required, transferred to connected printing systems and printed out via the existing workshop
network.
